10/13/15 8:20 AM CST Sunday we caught 2 18" smb both big one exceptionally broad and heavy both had deep gashes on them. They were caught over a mile apart. One was caught a few hundred yards from from where we had a really big musky on a small walleye early in the season, 10 minutes later we caught a 23" walleye with fresh teeth marks on it. Muskies being opportunistic feeders, are bigger smb common table fare for muskies? We have caught smb in the past with teeth marks but not that big. Incidentally the biggest bass was caught while setting the depth on a slip bobber pole. I clipped the pink weight to a gold hook with no bait on it, the big fish grabbed it on the fall we caught the fish but lost the depth finder, we got a hoot out of that.
